Phoenix Consulting Group maintains two separate facilities, completely autonomous facilities located just south of Old Town in Alexandria, Virginia. Both state-of-the-art facilities are easily accessible from the Huntingdon Metro station, from Route One or the Capital Beltway. The Federal Division (over 10,000 square feet) and the Phoenix Training Center (over 30,000 square feet) each consist of self-contained, separate access wings designed to provide segregation from other programs in session, should security or operational requirements dictate. The autonomous suites maximize student/faculty interaction with classrooms, faculty offices, breakout rooms and refreshment/student break areas, with classrooms that can accommodate up to 65 students. Each classroom has a state-of-the-art audio-video system, with ceiling-mounted front projectors and 42" LCD TVs located on each side of the classroom. The student library is equipped with research materials and texts, most of which appear are listed in the Intelligence Bibliography and student-dedicated DSL access to on-line research tools.
In-coming students should have already been provided by their organizations with instructions as to whether their program will be held in the Federal Division or the Phoenix Training Center, and directions to the appropriate location. In addition to the principal classrooms, each wing of the training center includes up to five interview rooms. These rooms are linked via a central, digital video/audio monitoring system which permits student exercises to be remotely viewed in the main classrooms. This technology investment significantly enhances the effectiveness of exercises that are typical of the intensive nature of sophisticated interviewing, debriefing, and interrogation training. The Center is also available for classified and unclassified meetings, conferences and seminars on a limited basis.
